1. Description of Gift. The Publishing Business Conference & Expo Amazon Kindle Fire GIFT is sponsored by North American Publishing Co., 1500 Spring Garden Street, 12th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19130 USA.
Sponsor will award an Amazon Kindle Fire “device” to each conference registrant who registers for a full conference pass (valued at $1,175) between 12:00:00 a.m. ET on October 27, 2011 and 11:59:59 p.m. on March 14, 2012. A registration must be PAID in full prior to receiving the device. This gift is not endorsed or affiliated with Amazon.
2. How to Qualify. Register for a full conference pass for the 2012 Publishing Business Conference & Expo. A registration form is available at www.publishingbusiness.com. A registration form can also be sent to you by mail by calling (215) 238-5300, sending an e-mail to tradeshows@napco.com, or by mail at: Publishing Business Conference & Expo Registration Form Request; 1500 Spring Garden Street, 12th Floor; Philadelphia, PA 19130. A registration must be paid in full ($1,175) prior to receiving the device.
Registrations become the property of Sponsor. In the unlikely event the Sponsor encounters technical or equipment failures such as telephone network lines failing, computer online systems failing, servers and/or provider services go down, or human error in connection with the registration form, etc., the Sponsor and promoters will not be held responsible. Collection and handling of personally identifiable information will be in accordance to the Privacy Policy as posted at http://www.napco.com/privacypolicy.
3. Eligibility. Employees of Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers or their immediate families are not eligible.
4. Description of Gift. Sponsor will award one device (Kindle Fire, Full Color 7″ Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi) to each conference registrant who pays for a full conference pass (valued at $1,175). A registration must be paid in full prior to receiving the device. No substitution, assignment or transfer of gift is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a gift of equal or greater value. Maximum cash value for all creative representations shall be $199.
5. Awarding of Gift. In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund of the amount that you paid minus $300 (promotional item cost plus processing fee) if your cancellation is received in writing by 2/1/2012. After 2/1/2012 there will be no refunds. By accepting the offer, recipient agrees that Sponsor, its affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall hold all such parties harmless against damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of gifts or participation in this Offer. By participating in this giveaway you agree that all expenses not specified herein, including, without limitation, all federal, state and local taxes, are sole responsibility of the participant. Offer void where prohibited.
6. Miscellaneous. The Amazon Kindle Fire GIFT is subject to all applicable laws in the United States and Canada. Void where prohibited and in any country except the United States and Canada. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Amazon Kindle Fire GIFT should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor or Promoters, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Amazon Kindle Fire GIFT. All decisions are final. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the any gifts including, but not limited to, quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular gift. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
